The National League is stacked with some of the best teams in MLB, but there is also one weak division mixed in. The top-heavy NL East and NL West divisions have multiple World Series contenders. Meanwhile, the NL Central is a wide-open race between four teams who are unlikely to make the postseason without a division title.
Here are how the division futures odds on DraftKings Sportsbook stack up compared to FanGraphs projected postseason percentages.

The two best teams in all of baseball might be in the NL West. The Los Angeles Dodgers are absolutely loaded and look like they have a legitimate chance to repeat in 2021. However, the San Diego Padres spent the offseason wheeling and dealing to try and keep up with their in-state rival.
Speaking of wheeling and dealing, the New York Mets had a busy offseason as well. They are the favorite to win the NL East according to FanGraphs, but DraftKings Sportsbook is favoring the Atlanta Braves to repeat. With that said, the Washington Nationals and Philadelphia Phillies have a puncher’s chance to make some noise this season.
And of course, we have to acknowledge the putrid NL Central. FanGraphs is projecting a wide-open race to win the division with no team getting more than a 36.2% chance to make the postseason. The St. Louis Cardinals are the favorite to win it, but the Milwaukee Brewers, Chicago Cubs, and Cincinnati Reds are all in the conversation as well.
