The SEC Championship futures market went live on DraftKings Sportsbook, and here are the opening odds to win the SEC in 2021.
|Program||Odds to win SEC at DraftKings Sportsbook|
Alabama is the Betting Favorite
Opening odds have Alabama as the favorite, as they are +100 to win the SEC at DraftKings Sportsbook.
Alabama lost Mac Jones, Najee Harris, Jaylen Waddle, DeVonta Smith, three starting offensive linemen and many others to the NFL Draft but they are still primed to win the SEC again in 2021. With Heisman hopeful Bryce Young, Brian Robinson Jr, Jahleel Billingsley and more still around, the Crimson Tide just continue to reload for another run at the National Championship.
You can wager on other Alabama futures at DraftKings Sportsbook, including the Heisman Trophy for many players and the National Championship which they have +250 odds to win. The tough games for Alabama in the SEC this year are:
- Texas A&M
This is a tough schedule for Alabama, but that likely will not matter as the heavy favorite to win the conference.
Georgia SEC Championship Odds
The Georgia Bulldogs have been a disappointment for many fans over the last few years, but will they finally get over the hump in 2021?
The Bulldogs are primed to excel in 2021 with QB JT Daniels and plenty of weapons to throw to. In addition, we can always expect the Georgia rushing attack to one one of the league’s best. The question remains what it will always be for Georgia, can they win the big game?
Georgia is +250 to win the SEC at DraftKings, and they do not play Alabama this year. The Bulldogs have a tough schedule including Clemson in Week 1, but that will not prevent them from winning the SEC as Clemson is in the ACC. Here’s the tough SEC games for Georgia in 2021:
- Tennessee (in Knoxville)
Assuming Georgia makes it through, they could coast to the SEC Championship game likely against…Alabama.
Our SEC Champ Picks
With the opening odds released at DraftKings Sportsbook here are our picks to win the SEC in 2021.
- Georgia +250
- Florida +1200
In all likelihood, Alabama will win again in 2021. But with their odds as an even +100 in the futures market, that will be a tough one to find value in.
