With the 2020 election over (maybe?), the betting markets have focused attention for the US politics onto the 2024 election. While the 2020 election was the most polarizing to date, there is no doubt that 2024 may be even crazier for a variety of reasons. First, will Joe Biden be running for re-election? He will be 81 years old. Will Donald Trump run again? He will be 78 years old. In addition, will candidates that ran briefly enter the race again like Michael Bloomberg, Kanye West (actually), and more. At this point, it looks like it could be Kamala Harris vs. Donald Trump in 2024. Let’s dive into the latest odds, news and more.

President Donald Trump’s odds are at +800 to win the 2024 election, which puts him close to 80 years old to win the Presidency. Could we see two upper-70s Presidents in a row? Time will tell. The odds finish up with Vice President Mike Pence at +1000, Nikki Haley at +1400 and AOC at +1400 to win the 2024 Election.

2024 Election Odds: Kamala Harris favored to be President

As of November 10th, Kamala Harris was the favorite to win the 2024 election at overseas books. She stands at +350, which is quite interesting given that she is currently the Vice President-elect. This is likely a combination of things that led to Harris being the favorite, including Joe Biden’s age. While Kamala Harris is set to be the first female Vice President ever, if she wins the 2024 election she could also be the first female President ever. Not a bad resume for Harris should that happen! Joe Biden follows at +450, with Donald Trump at +800.

Will Donald Trump run for President in 2024?

As of now, Donald Trump’s odds are +800 to win the 2024 election, but higher to win the GOP primaries. The 2024 election will be a very important one for the Republican party, and currently Trump is the favorite to win the race in the primaries for the 2024 election. It will be an important one for the GOP for many reasons, the first of which being a very tight race in 2020 that resulted in Joe Biden winning some swing states that Republicans had historically done well in. In addition, who will the GOP representative be? Will Donald Trump Jr. run if his dad does not? Will Ted Cruz or Marco Rubio run? Will Mark Cuban run as a Republican?

Could AOC run for President in 2024?

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a very popular candidate amongst Democratic voters, but she was not old enough to win in the 2020 election. As the tweet above stands, she will be 35 years of age in 2024 which is the minimum age to run for President in the United States. Her odds to win are currently at +1400 at overseas books, but she will be one of the more polarizing candidates to follow over the next four years. AOC is popular on social media, in a large state (NY) and will likely play a large role in a Biden presidency in the four years leading up to the 2024 election.
