This certainly helps the Nuggets as their odds to win the NBA Finals will increase right away.

Once this deal was announced, the odds for the Nuggets to win the NBA Finals were removed from many legal sportsbooks. Before the trade, the Nuggets’ odds were +2600 on FanDuel Sportsbook to win the Finals, and at some platforms they are already +2000 and rising.
Denver Nuggets NBA Finals Odds Rise after Gordon Trade
Aaron Gordon is a great add for the Nuggets on paper, and bodes well for their future as he is just 25 years old. With the odds rising at some legal sportsbooks, it shows how the bookmakers feel about the move. Does this make it perfect? Time will tell, but there is some evidence to the contrary.
Aaron Gordon is shooting a career-best 37.5% from 3P range this season, and he is posting the highest assist rate of his career (22.7%).
However, his career-low FT% (62.9%) and career-worst turnover rate (16.7%) make him below average in terms of overall offensive efficiency. https://t.co/fa00HPE4TG

The good news for the Nuggets is that Gordon will likely not be handling the ball much in Denver, which will limit his turnovers. He will fit in alongside Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic in the starting lineup, and help the Nuggets attempt to get over the hump. It was not just the NBA Finals odds that rose though, here are some other futures markets that you can wager on the Nuggets that have seen odds movement at DraftKings Sportsbook.
