The Chicago Bears and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are going to meet in Week 5’s Thursday Night Football matchup and this game will feature a rematch between the two quarterbacks who faced off in Super Bowl 52, Nick Foles and Tom Brady.

Of course, the wrinkle in that quarterback matchup is that both guys are on different teams now. Foles recently took over for Mitchell Trubisky in Chicago while Brady is looking to prove that he’s still got it for Tampa Bay.

Here is our Action Rush Thursday Night Football betting guide complete with the best odds, prop bets, and analysis for the start of Week 4 of the NFL season.

Bears – Buccaneers Odds Thursday Night

Although both teams come into this game at 3-1, the Buccaneers are favored by 5.5 points on the spread line. On the moneyline, Tampa Bay is -240 which implies a 71% chance at winning outright. The Bears are 2-1 against the spread as the underdog in games this season, but the Buccaneers are a different animal.

The total points are set to 44 on the over and 44.5 on the under. The books don’t expect this game to be the back-and-forth scoring affair that Super Bowl 52 was.

TNF Preview & Betting Angles

As we mentioned earlier, all eyes will be on Foles and Brady in this one. Brady is coming off of a 17-point come-from-behind victory over the Los Angeles Chargers. An early pick-six had plenty of people doubting Brady, but he showcased his greatness by engineering the impressive comeback.

Brady made history with the win, becoming the all-time leader in regular-season wins for a quarterback. Most of those wins came when he was playing in a Patriots jersey, but the last three have come in the pewter for the Bucs.

Foles wasn’t able to match Brady last week, but he led the Bears on a ridiculous comeback win over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 3. Down 16 entering the fourth quarter, Foles connected on three touchdown passes to put up 20 unanswered and steal a win from the hapless Falcons. He entered the game for Trubisky and the Bears haven’t looked back.

The former Super Bowl MVP brings a presence to the huddle that Trubisky didn’t seem to have. It’s not that Trubisky was terrible when he was in, but he wasn’t doing enough to keep Foles at bay.

Although we love this quarterback matchup, the Bucs and Bears are two of the best defenses in the league. Both teams rank top 10 in yards and points allowed this season. Defensive coordinator Todd Bowles has Tampa Bay’s defense playing at a high level. They already have eight takeaways.

For the Bears, they’re led by dominant pass rusher Khalil Mack. The former Defensive Player of the Year only has 1.5 sacks on the season, but it’s only a matter of time before he starts racking them up. Tampa Bay’s offensive line will have to try and slow him down considering the fact that Brady’s mobility is almost non-existent at this point.

Both teams are 2-2 against the spread this season. Additionally, the over his hit three times for the Bucs and twice for the Bears this season.

Prop Bets Bears vs. Buccaneers

Player props haven’t been released on DraftKings Sportsbook yet, but check back later in the week for some of our favorites. In the meantime, there are plenty of game and team props to consider. Winning margin is an interesting way to get great odds on a very specific finish.

How To Watch Buccaneers at Bears Thursday Night

The Bucs and Bears will meet at Soldier Field on Thursday night, but like many NFL teams this year, the Bears aren’t allowing fans in the building. There are a few different places to watch this one. As always, it’s on NFL Network, but Fox and Amazon will also have the game. The Fox broadcast crew of Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, Erin Andrews, and Kristina Pink will have the call.

Kickoff is set for 8:20 p.m. ET.

Betting Picks & Score Prediction

Foles got the better of Brady in Super Bowl 52, but don’t expect that to happen again. The Bucs are one of the hottest teams in football and while the Bears are 3-1, their three wins came against awful teams. The Falcons, Giants, and Lions have a combined one win.

Take the Patriots laying the points in this one. The under is always enticing on a short week, but even though both teams have staunch defensive units, there’s always the possibility for a shootout when Brady and Foles meet.

Final Score Prediction: Buccaneers win 24-16
