Cowherd’s betting analysis for Week 16
Each week on “The Herd“, Colin Cowherd gives his favorite betting picks against the spread for the week at hand in the NFL. In addition, he provides a wealth of stats and betting trends that support his selections, making it an entertaining betting segment. Cowherd gives his pick, prediction, and reasons why which we summarize here each week.
With it being Christmas week, Joy Taylor fills in with her “Favorite Five”. Here’s a look.
Green Bay Packers -7.5 vs. Cleveland Browns
Cleveland is incredibly banged up, and the Packers are still relatively healthy. 7.5 points may not be enough.
Prediction: Packers to win and cover.
Arizona Cardinals -1 vs. Indianapolis Colts
The Colts are the best offense in the NFL since Week 8, scoring over 30 points per game. Cardinals are favored, but Joy likes the Colts.
Prediction: Colts to win and cover.
New England Patriots -2 vs. Buffalo Bills
It won’t be a weather game this week, but the Bills expect to be more competitive this time around.
Prediction: Patriots to win and cover.
Cincinnati Bengals -3 vs. Baltimore Ravens
Baltimore has struggled of late, but have two losses with failed two-point conversions. Bengals are on the rise, and are far more healthy.
Prediction: Bengals to win and cover.
Miami Dolphins -1.5 vs. New Orleans Saints
The Dolphins are looking to become the first team to win seven in a row after losing seven in a row. Ian Book will start.
Prediction: Dolphins to win and cover.

- Colts -2.5 vs. Pats (Win)
- Jags -5 vs. Texans (Loss)
- Steelers PickEm vs. Titans (Win)
