Public betting splits are out for this week’s slate of college football games and there are a number of AP Top 25 Poll teams in action. The marquee matchup of the week is Alabama and Georgia, which could be a potential preview of the SEC Championship Game. In fact, it might even be a preview of the National Championship Game.

Bettors love overs once again, but we don’t need to dive too deep into that. The public always loves the over and that doesn’t look like it’s changing anytime soon.

Despite the fact that Nick Saban might not be on the sidelines this weekend due to COVID-19, the public is still heavy on Alabama. The public is hammering the Alabama spread line with 67% of bet tickets and 77% of the total handle going on the Crimson Tide. Georgia was originally six-point underdogs going into this game, but they jumped up to +4.5 following the news of Saban’s positive diagnosis.

Saban is 20-0 when coaching against his former assistants. Could his old defensive coordinator Kirby Smart break that streak this Saturday? Would it even count if Saban is watching from his couch just like everyone else? Georgia beating Bama in Tuscaloosa would certainly be a significant upset, even if the Bulldogs are one of the best teams in the country right now.

Public Focused On Boston College As Dogs

If you’re looking at upsets, Boston College at +330 against Virginia Tech has some juice. Only 38% of the money is on Boston College moneyline going into this weekend, but the Eagles are off to a fantastic start this season. Their only loss came against No. 5 North Carolina and the Eagles had a chance to send it to overtime in the final seconds.

Here’s a look at all the betting odds and splits for this week’s games with ranked opponents via DraftKings Sportsbook.
