Tim Tebow is back in the NFL (for now). Yes, you read that right…and we thought last year was whacky…..
The Jacksonville Jaguars, now head coached by Urban Meyer (Tebow’s former college coach at Florida), reportedly plan to sign the former Bronco, Jet, and New York Met minor-leaguer to a one-year deal. It doesn’t mean he’ll make the final roster ahead of the regular season, but the 33-year-old former quarterback and current tight end will have a shot to play alongside recently drafted quarterback Trevor Lawrence as a member of the AFC South squad.
And because of this unusual occasion, DraftKings Sportsbook and other legal books have released Tim Tebow player specials for the upcoming 2021 regular season.

Of course, either of the two overs actually hitting will partly be reliant on whether Tebow makes the final roster at the conclusion of the training camp and preseason periods. And if he does make the team, he’ll need to actually earn playing time, which could indeed occur at the end of a blowout not in favor of the Jags.
While Tebow catching a touchdown pass is a long shot at +350, it might not be an awful move to throw a little money down on that and buy-in early. Be aware: if he eventually makes the final roster and is with the team during the regular season, the odds of him catching a touchdown could become greater than they currently are.
Maybe putting $100 on it right now for a potential profit of $350 wouldn’t be a terrible decision.
As for the other player special, if we believe a touchdown reception is a possibility, then 12.5 receiving yards likely could be as well.
Finding at least a few reps at the end of a blowout may lead to a few targets for Tebow, and it wouldn’t take many receptions to gain at least 13 yards through the air.
Again, a lot of it is dependent on if he makes the team ahead of the regular season. If he doesn’t, then congratulations to those hammering the under on either of these plays.
