The oddsmakers at DraftKings Sportsbook have released their newest set of data pertaining to the Heisman Trophy candidate and his latest rise up the charts is staggering.
After initially being listed at 20/1 to go in Round 1 of the 2020 NFL Draft, Hurts has seen movement go from 18/1 (+1800) just last week, to currently 11/1 odds (+1100).
While certainly a major underdog to go in the first 32 picks, Rotoworld’s Hayden Winks has Hurts listed as his QB4 after Joe Burrow, Tua Tagovailoa and Justin Herbert, while maintaining he is deserving of a first-round grade.

Furthermore, Hurts is now considered a favorite to be drafted in the second round, moving from 2/1 opening odds to +160 last week. Now, if you were to bet on Hurts being drafted in Round 2, you would have to pay $110 to win $100 (-110).
In his latest NFL Mock Draft for ESPN, Mel Kiper Jr. has Hurts landing with the Pittsburgh Steelers in Round 2.
Mel Kiper Jr. has the Steelers drafting QB Jalen Hurts 49th. He would be Steelers' highest-drafted QB since taking Big Ben 11th in 2004.

Hurts projects to be one of the most unique prospects in this year’s draft, as scouts are torn on how to evaluate his upside in the modern NFL offense. Longtime NFL Films Executive Producer and Analyst Greg Cosell published his scouting report for Hurts earlier this week via his Twitter page:
Let's look at 2 more QBs – Jalen Hurts and Jake Luton. Hurts will be a fascinating evaluation as NFL coaches look to transition and project him to the league. My guess is smart reasonable people will have totally divergent views. I cannot wait to see where Hurts gets drafted. pic.twitter.com/jk7CKGD7ri

What’s clear is Hurts’ draft status will continue to rise as long as his name continues to be floated in NFL circles as a player worth trading up to go and get. Plus, a little positive PR from his old school doesn’t hurt either…
A proven winner who can hurt defenses on the ground and through the air, @JalenHurts is 𝘛𝘩𝘰𝘳.#RareBreed #OUDNA
