The Lakers are already off to a great start in the bubble after beating the Clippers on opening night. The Raptors are hoping to get off to a similar start, at the expense of LeBron James and the Lakers, of course.

Mavericks bettors would have loved this insurance on Friday night.
Pointsbet Sportsbook is coming out of the gate swinging during the NBA restart. You won’t get odds on NBA spreads quite like this anywhere else. Pointsbet Sportsbook is offering no juice odds on NBA spreads. That’s right, there is currently no vig on any NBA seeding games over at Pointsbet.
Lakers vs. Raptors Betting Preview
Could this be a preview of the NBA Finals? It’s definitely possible considering how dominant the Lakers have been all season and how resilient the Raptors have been in the East. After losing Kawhi Leonard to the Clippers and dealing with injuries all season long, the Raptors are back to prove everyone wrong again.
The Lakers are going to have the best two players on the floor in LeBron James and Anthony Davis, but there’s just something different about these Raptors. Toronto is the definition of a cohesive unit. Every player seems to fill his role to make the sum of the parts greater than the individuals.
With the Lakers coming off of a thrilling win over the Clippers—and pretty much securing the top seed in the Western Conference in the process—they could be in for a bit of a letdown. The Raptors, on the other hand, are making their debut in the bubble. We can expect the Kyle Lowry and Pascal Siakam-led group to come out swinging.
The depth of Toronto’s bench should play a major factor in this game as well. In the playoffs, depth doesn’t matter near as much, but Lakers coach Frank Vogel won’t want to overwork James and Davis in fairly meaningless seeding games.
Lakers vs. Raptors Pick
This is going to be a tight one and no one will be surprised if it’s a one-possession game in the final seconds. As a result, take the Raptors with the points.
