Super Bowl Odds

One of the more popular legal sports betting markets at DraftKings Sportsbook all season long is the Super Bowl futures market, with odds changing at furious pace.

Weekly, odds change based on a variety of circumstances. Whether it is from team success or lack thereof, injuries, or miscellaneous, the odds will move. Usually, odds move frequently.

DraftKings Sportsbook provides us with notable Super Bowl odds movement this week, as we enter the NFL Playoffs.

Just 12 teams remain on the quest for the Lombardi Trophy, so only 12 options can be bet on in this futures market.

Let’s take a look at the latest 2020 Super Bowl Odds from DraftKings Sportsbook.

DRAFTKINGS SUPER BOWL ODDS 2020

Team DraftKings Sportsbook Odds to Win Super Bowl
Baltimore Ravens +220
San Francisco 49ers +400
Kansas City Chiefs +450
New Orleans Saints +600
Green Bay Packers +1000
New England Patriots +1200
Philadelphia Eagles +2500
Seattle Seahawks +2500
Houston Texans +3300
Minnesota Vikings +3300
Tennessee Titans +5500
Buffalo Bills +6000

As we enter Week 1 of the 2020 NFL Playoffs, the Wild Card Round brings four games. That means eight of the 12 playoff teams will be in action, as the Ravens, 49ers, Chiefs, and Packers have first-round byes.

The Ravens currently sit as the favorites at +220, and there are three other teams with odds better than 10:1 in the 49ers (+400), Chiefs (+450), and Saints (+600).

The Bills and Titans are getting no love from the oddsmakers, as they sit at +6000 and +5500, respectively.

Bill Belichick and Tom Brady at +1200?!

+700 entering the season, +1200 this week

Think about it this way. Did you ever think at some point this season you would get the Patriots to win the Super Bowl at 12:1?

Likely, the answer is no. That means the Patriots carry a ton of value into the playoffs. Are they a worthwhile bet?

The Pats are playing in the wild card round for the first time since 2009. That is absurd in it’s own right, but we all know the Patriots‘ playoff history and how successful Belichick and Brady have been.

This year feels a tad different though, after losing to the Dolphins in Week 17 in a game they needed to win for a much higher seed and a first round bye. Brady had a down year statistically and the defense fell off after dominating earlier in the season.

Either way, 12:1 is great odds to bet on the best coach and QB tandem of all time to win four games in a row…again.

Philadelphia Eagles at +2500 Fools Gold?

+1200 entering the season, +2500 this week

The Philadelphia Eagles are +2500 to win the Super Bowl on DraftKings Sportsbook, but that may be fools gold given their injuries.

The Eagles are missing: Jordan Howard, Alshon Jeffery, DeSean Jackson, Zach Ertz, Lane Johnson, Brandon Brooks, and many other pieces on defense. The injury bug has certainly bitten the Eagles of late, and despite winning four games in a row they have only played NFC East teams. Not the best division, by any means.

A game at home helps them in the Wild Card round, but after that the Eagles would need to beat the Saints, Niners, Vikings, and/or Packers.

With four teams having “worse” odds, the Eagles feel overpriced to win the Super Bowl this season. With that being said, crazier things have happened…

Can Anyone Beat the Ravens?

+3300 entering the season, +220 this week

At the start of the playoffs, being +220 to win the Super Bowl is incredible. The Ravens cannot lose in the Wild Card round, which certainly helps as they only need to win three games to win the Super Bowl.

With the likely MVP at the helm in Lamar Jackson and a vastly improved defense over the course of the year, the Ravens are poised to make a run at the Super Bowl, and are the overwhelming favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook.
