March is approaching and that means college basketball season is kicking into high gear. Despite this bizarre season with pauses and cancelations galore, we are still on track to crown a National Champion in April. The NCAA Tournament will take place entirely in the state of Indiana with the Final Four going down in Indianapolis.
Gonzaga (+280) and Baylor (+320) are the two favorites to win it all on FanDuel Sportsbook, but there are a few teams in the mix when it comes to National Championship odds. The Big Ten is well represented among the favorites with Michigan (+900), Illinois (+1400), and Iowa (+1600). Meanwhile, Villanova (+900) is still hanging around despite a recent loss to St. John’s.
Here are the current odds to win the National Championship on FanDuel Sportsbook.
Gonzaga & Baylor Favored To Win Tourney
First things first, Gonzaga and Baylor are juggernauts. They are the only remaining unbeaten schools in Division I and they could enter the NCAA Tournament with those unblemished records.
Nevertheless, if there was ever a year to take a chance on a longshot, this might be it. Florida (+6500) has endured a brutal season up to this point. They struggled to adjust after Keyontae Johnson’s scary collapse and hospitalization earlier this season, but they might be getting hot at the right time.
Even Loyola Chicago (+7000) out of the Missouri Valley Conference might be a good longshot option for bettors. If Loyola Chicago sounds familiar, it’s because they have some recent success in the NCAA Tournament. The Ramblers went on a surprise run to the Final Four in 2018 as an 11-seed. They have a better team this time around. Loyola is currently ranked 22nd in the AP Top 25 Poll and they are poised for a deep run into March.
