With 2020 upon us, the focus will be on the betting markets of college basketball at most legal sports betting sites. With hundreds of teams playing multiple times per week and an ever-changing Top 25, it’s a tremendous sport to follow and bet on.
But it is not limited to the games themselves, as you can bet on rapidly changing odds to win the 2020 Final Four.
With the latest AP Top 25 being released, there are plenty of values to be had as we are a few months from March Madness.
Here’s a look at the AP Top 25 paired with their DraftKings Sportsbook National Championship Odds.
Odds to Win Final Four 2020
|AP Rank||School||DK National Champions Odds|
|13||San Diego State||+4000|
+800 to Win National Title, #1 in AP Top 25
Gonzaga is #1 in the AP Top 25, and they have the best odds to win the 2020 Final Four currently at +800.
The ‘Zags are 14-1 and have won each and every home game in 2019. This includes wins over Oregon, Washington, Arizona, and UNC with their only loss to the Michigan Wolverines.
Gonzaga is led by Filip Petrusev averaging over 17 points per game with eight boards, and plenty of complementary pieces to a deep basketball team. They will be poised to make a run at the 2020 Final Four.
+4000 to Win National Title, #8 in AP Top 25
Auburn is 12-0 and currently eighth in the country. They are currently 40:1 to win the National Championship though, providing an elite value in the betting market if you are comparing AP Top 25 teams to DraftKings Sportsbook futures.
The tough part of the schedule for Auburn is around the corner, with a three week stretch of conference games ending with Kentucky on February 1st. A month from now, we will know if Auburn is a contender or pretender.
+1000 to Win National Title, #17 in AP Top 25
Kentucky is still +1000 to win a National Title, but they are ranked 17th in the latest AP Top 25 poll.
The Wildcats start slow often, as they build their rotations throughout the season with repeated new starting fives given their recruiting style.
Kentucky is currently 9-3, and has been up and down on the season. They opened with a victory over #1 Michigan State, but two games later lost to Evansville. They have lost to Utah and Ohio State as well, but beat rival Louisville.
The Wildcats will be there at the end of the season, as always. The growing pains early in the season fizzle out by the time conference play starts, which is just around the corner in the SEC.
