Michigan Sports Betting Apps
More than a year after online sports betting was signed into law, Michigan is finally ready to hit the ground running. Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed online sports betting and gaming legislation in December of 2019. This launch is coming just in time for the Super Bowl.

Plenty of the biggest sportsbooks in the country are ready for launch already in Michigan. PointsBet, DraftKings, FanDuel, Barstool, BetMGM, FOX Bet, and William Hill are all going to be involved in this very crowded market. There are at least 15 online sportsbooks that are set to go live when Michigan launches online sports betting.

What Can You Bet On In Michigan?

Michigan bettors will have a wide range of games and teams to bet on now that sports betting is live in the state. All four major professional sports teams will be listed on sportsbooks across the state. That means Michigan bettors will be able to win big on the Lions, Tigers, Pistons, and Red Wings.

Unfortunately, the Lions didn’t make the playoffs, but there are still NFL games for Michigan bettors to place wagers on. The AFC and NFC Championship games are coming up on Sunday and the Super Bowl will be here in no time. The Super Bowl is the biggest sports betting day of the year and the timing in Michigan could not be better.

In addition to the Super Bowl, March Madness is right around the corner as well. Michigan is a hotbed for college basketball this year. Michigan is currently ranked seventh in the nation while Michigan State is just on the outside of the AP Top 25 Poll. Both teams are going to be playing meaningful games in March.

The Super Bowl and March Madness are two of the biggest sporting events of the year, but it’s only the beginning for online sports betting in Michigan.
