Week 16 in the NFL means the beginning of Saturday games, which is always a great way to split up what has been large slates of NFL games with eight or more games on at a time.
Saturday games bring about more betting opportunities, as a separate slate of games is normally viewed as “target rich”, similar to Thanksgiving Day.
In Week 16, all three Saturday games have playoff implications.

NFL WEEK 16 SATURDAY SCHEDULE:
Houston Texans @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Entering Week 16, the Houston Texans are the four seed in the AFC and will host a playoff game.
But, the Tennessee Titans are just one game behind and they will face off in Week 17. If the Texans win and the Titans lose in Week 16, the Texans can rest their starters and get healthy for the postseason.
Houston is -3.5, and has received 87% of the money on the spread in this game.
The over has received 84% of the money, and is currently set at 49.5
The public believes in HOU -3.5 and the over (49.5).
Another thing to watch is Jameis Winston is 904 yards away from breaking the all time single season passing yards record. 904 seems like a lot to get in two games, right?
Winston has exactly 904 in his last two games combined, with 458 against the Lions and 456 against the Colts.
Buffalo Bills @ New England Patriots
Week 16 AFC East match-ups have met nothing for years. But, the Buffalo Bills have changed that this season with a 10-4 record. The Patriots are 11-3, and the Bills still have a chance to win the AFC East. Of course, that will need to start with a win in Foxboro in Week 16.
The Patriots are -6.5-point favorites, but the majority of the money and total bets have come on the Bills at +6.5. That is a very low total at 37.5, and the public is on the under.
The public is betting the Bills +6.5, and under 37.5. What a turn of events from the start of the season.
Los Angeles Rams @ San Francisco 49ers
The Rams sit at 8-6, and they need a win in the last two weeks to make the playoffs.
The 49ers are tied with the Seahawks for first place in the NFC West, and winning that division is key as there is a chance for home field throughout the playoffs. The 49ers are currently the #3 favorite to win the 2020 Super Bowl.
San Francisco is -6.5, and the majority of the money and bets are on the 49ers to advance to 12-3, and the Rams to fall out of the playoff race with two straight losses to the Cowboys in Week 15, and the Niners in Week 16.
The public is betting on over 45 in this game, to go along with the Niners -6.5.
