PointsBet Casino Adds To Growth Story

This is yet another example of PointsBet’s recent surge in the U.S., and more specifically in New Jersey. PointsBet’s Sportsbook accounted for 8.7% of the total handle bet in New Jersey during FYQ4. The success PointsBet is having with its sportsbook app in the state is great news for the coming launch of its online casino product.

DraftKings and FanDuel are two of the major players in the New Jersey sports betting market, but PointsBet is quickly cementing itself as one of the industry leaders. Adding an online casino product will only strengthen its foothold in the state.

Outside of New Jersey, PointsBet is continuing to increase its reach and influence through major partnerships. By inking a partnership deal with the Detroit Tigers, they recently became the first sportsbook to partner with an MLB franchise and the first to partner with a professional team in Michigan. A similar deal was struck with the Indiana Pacers as well.

Not to mention, PointsBet is positioning itself to take advantage of the burgeoning sports betting market in Illinois. The in-person registration requirement is slowing things down in the state. But make no mistake, online sports betting is going to explode in Illinois at some point and PointsBet will be right there in the middle of it all.
