The PGA Tour is in full swing and this weekend’s event — the 3M Open — is back for another go in 2020. TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota will host the event and there are plenty of options for bettors to choose from. This week’s 3M Open won’t have the star power of last weekend’s Memorial Tournament, but there is still a lot to watch out for in Minnesota.

So far on DraftKings Sportsbook, Erik van Rooyen and Tommy Fleetwood are bringing in the highest percentage of betting handle of any golfers, but there are a few other longshots who are in the mix. Last year’s winner of the 3M Open, Matthew Wolff, is right there with Van Rooyen and Tommy Fleetwood.

Trendy 3M Open Picks To Win

Erik van Rooyen might not be a household name, but his place at the top of these betting splits should come as no surprise. The South African golfer had a decent showing at The Memorial Tournament, finishing in a tie for 22nd place. Add in the fact that he played collegiately for the University of Minnesota and it’s clear why bettors are flocking to him ahead of the 3M Open.

Tommy Fleetwood is one of the favorites to win it all. Fleetwood is listed near the top of the board, with only Brooks Koepka (+1400), Tony Finau (+1400), and Dustin Johnson (+1200) as heavier favorites. The 3M Open will be Fleetwood’s first appearance on the PGA Tour since the coronavirus shutdown.

Matthew Wolff is another trendy pick to win this weekend’s event. The American has had his fair share of ups and downs since the PGA Tour returned. He finished second in the Rocket Mortgage Classic a few weeks ago, but he also missed three cuts in six tournaments since play restarted. Despite Wolff’s volatile play of late, he did win the inaugural 3M Open in 2019 so he has a certain familiarity with the course and tournament.
