  • Flexed OUT of the Sunday Night game, theTB Buccaneers visit the Raiders who are +4 dogs and a total points mark of 53.
  • The Raiders have hit the over in all five games this season.
  • The Bucs defense ranks first in total defense in the NFL.
  • Las Vegas is coming off of a bye week, but has COVID-19 impacts on their roster.

As the NFL moves into Week 7 of games, we’re starting to get an idea of who are the contenders and pretenders. Sunday Night Football between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Las Vegas Raiders will give us even more intel on that front. The Buccaneers are coming off of a dominant win over the previously undefeated Green Bay Packers while the Raiders’ most recent game was a win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Will either team be a legitimate Super Bowl contender as the season goes on? Sunday night’s matchup could provide us with an answer to that question and more.

The Action Rush Sunday Night Football betting guide has the best odds, interesting props, analysis, and everything else you need to know for Raiders vs. Buccaneers. This is one of the best matchups of Week 7.

Raiders – Buccaneers SNF Week 7

The Buccaneers are traveling west to Las Vegas for this game, but they are still the favorites at -3 on the spread line and -163 on the moneyline. Those moneyline odds equate to approximately a 62% chance at winning this game outright.

The total points mark is set to 53 on some books and 53.5 on others. Keep an eye on this number throughout the week to see if there’s any notable line movement. The Buccaneers and Raiders are offensive teams that can score in bunches. That means that we could see a lot of points on the board when Sunday night rolls around.

SNF Preview & Betting Angles

Where are we on Tom Brady and the Buccaneers so far this year? They have had some awesome highs (see the dominant win over Aaron Rodgers and the Packers) mixed in with serious lows (see Brady forgetting what down it was in the loss to the Bears). At 4-2, the Buccaneers appear to be the real deal, but they have yet to put it all together.

The Tampa Bay offense has big names left and right, but it’s actually the defense that is leading the way for the Buccaneers. Jamel Brown’s pick-six on Aaron Rodgers in Week 6 completely changed the momentum of the game. Defensive coordinator Todd Bowles is doing a masterful job with the pieces at his disposal right now. Tampa Bay is first in total defense and eighth in scoring defense so far this season.

Las Vegas is currently sixth in total offense, but they might have a tough time cracking this Buccaneers defense. Tampa Bay is also first in rushing defense this year and that could be the key to slowing down the Raiders.

Jon Gruden’s team employs a balanced offensive attack. Derek Carr is throwing the ball 35 times per game, but the Raiders are also giving lead running back Josh Jacobs upwards of 20 carries per game.

The Las Vegas defense is somewhat suspect though. The Raiders are giving up 30.4 points per game which ranks 27th in the NFL. Most of their games have turned into shootouts which could come back to bite them against this staunch Buccaneers defense.

The only common opponent these two teams have played so far is the New Orleans Saints. The Buccaneers fell to the Saints in Week 1 after a rough outing from Brady. Conversely, Las Vegas took down New Orleans in Week 2 on Monday Night Football on the back of a great performance from Carr.

The Buccaneers are 3-3 against the spread and 3-3 on over-unders so far in 2020. On the other side, the Raiders are 3-2 against the spread and a perfect 5-0 on the over. The Raiders’ suspect defense combined with its well-balanced offense is leading to high-scoring games.

Betting Picks & Score Prediction

There are a few different ways to go with this Sunday’s game. Both teams can score it so the over should be in play, but that Buccaneers defense is good enough to throw a wrench into that plan. Brady has been great at times but still hasn’t been as consistent as we’re used to seeing him.

Even with Brady’s inconsistencies, take the Buccaneers laying the points. That Tampa Bay defense is as real as it gets and even though the Raiders are coming off of a bye week, that defense will be ready to play come Sunday.

Final Score Prediction: Buccaneers win 31-20
