Can you believe that it is Week 14 in college football and Week 13 in the NFL already? Better believe it, because December is here. There is no Thursday Night Football this week for the NFL, and just one game of college ball on Thursday night. This means there is a full slate of games this weekend for Scott Van Pelt to choose from. Each and every week on his “Winner$” segment, ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt goes over his favorite betting picks for both CFB and NFL. At ActionRush, we have tracked his picks for the last two seasons. So far this season, his record stands at 35-29-1, per the broadcast.

While SVP is not a professional handicapper, he has had some success picking games this season. With last week being Thanksgiving, he did not have any selections on Thursday as he had the night off from SportsCenter, but SVP’s records for the season stand at:

This week SVP has 10 selections between the two sports, as he looks to make up for lost time last week. Here is a look at SVP’s picks for this week in both sports.

SVP College Football Picks – Week 14

There is a big week ahead in college football, and SVP makes his selections on SportsCenter with that in mind. SVP’s picks against the spread for this week in college football are below:

Kentucky (-11.5) vs. SCAR

SVP likes this game, despite Kentucky losing four of five.

Ohio (+11.5) vs. Buffalo

Picking against Buffalo? Yup. SVP will.

Tennessee (+17.5) vs. Florida

SVP jokes Tennessee will have to score 85 points to cover, but he picks them anyway.

Fresno State (+7) vs. Nevada

Time to get a little weird, expresses SVP. A 1030 PM EST game to root for here.

Auburn (+6.5) vs. TAMU

This is SVP’s “General principle game”, taking Auburn here.

LSU (+29.5) vs. Alabama

…yea…he’s doing it apparently. Taking a nearly 30-point spread here for LSU.

Navy (+12) vs. Tulsa

SVP is 3-2 picking Navy, and he goes for 4-2 after this week.

Memphis (+1.5) vs. Tulane

SVP loves Tulane, but he is going against them with a Memphis pick.

Scott Van Pelt NFL Picks – Week 13

After going through his CFB picks, SVP dives into his NFL selections. He has less NFL picks on the season and of late, as he has found success with one-pick weeks since Week 6. Here is a look at who SVP likes in the NFL for this week.

Cleveland Browns (+5.5) vs. Tennessee

SVP’s ninth pick of the night is his first NFL pick. He likes the Browns this week!

Houston (+3.5) vs. Indianapolis

“Take ’em blind, thank me later” says SVP.
