After the Rams and Patriots wrapped up Thursday Night Football, Week 14 of the NFL is underway. It is also Week 15 in college football, which means this week the final week before college football conference championships. This doesn’t stop ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt though, as he will continue to make his picks each week for both sports. Each Thursday night, SVP picks his favorite games against the spread for both CFB and the NFL.
Scott Van Pelt is by no means a professional handicapper, but he never has claimed to be. The “Winner$” segment on SportsCenter is one of the most popular on the network, and brings a wealth of entertainment from one of the top personalities in sports media. As always, ActionRush has tracked SVP’s wins and losses for the last two years. Here is a look at the history and this week’s picks.
SVP has eight winners this week, following up a massive week of 10 picks last week. Here is a look at SVP’s picks for this week in college football and the NFL.
SVP College Football Picks – Week 15

After picking eight CFB spreads in Week 14, SVP picks a fewer number of games for this week with five selections. That makes sense as this weekend’s slate has a lower number of games to choose from. Here is a look at SVP’s college football picks for Week 15.
Duke (+5) vs. Florida State
Duke has lost the last three games by more 100 combined points. This is SVP’s “GpG game for this week! Duke +5…
Troy (+13.5) vs. Coastal Carolina
BYU hangover? Guess so, SVP likes Troy.
Missouri (+13) vs. Georgia
SVP likes Missouri this week, and mentions that Steve hates Georgia.
San Diego State (+17) vs. BYU
BYU does not cover this week, SVP likes San Diego State…this is not a GpG per SVP.
Louisiana Tech (+21.5) vs. TCU
HUGE spread here, but SVP is taking the points with over three touchdowns from LATECH.

🏈 Denver (+3) at Carolina#NFLPicks #Betting #BettingTips— Action Rush (@ActionRushBets) December 11, 2020
Like he does each and every week, SVP makes his NFL picks after going through his favorite CFB selections. Each week, SVP picks just one or two games in the NFL, rarely picking more than that as he focuses on quality over quantity for professional football. Without further ado, here’s SVP’s NFL picks for Week 14.
Arizona Cardinals at New York Giants (+3)
SVP likes the Giants in Week 14, he doesn’t know why NYG is the underdog.
Kansas City Chiefs at Miami Dolphins (+7)
SVP says have you noticed that the Chiefs win every week, but it’s close? He likes Miami this week.
Denver Broncos (+3) at Carolina Panthers
In what may be the best pick of the season, SVP says “I have Denver written down here, but I don’t know why”. Go Broncos.
