Every Thursday night (or Friday morning, depending on time zone) Scott Van Pelt hosts SportsCenter like he always does, but he gives his favorite picks. Van Pelt (known as SVP) is one of the more popular sports media personalities of the last few decades, and he has made quite the name for himself as a late-night entertainer. Each week, SVP does a “Winner$” segment where he discusses his favorite plays for CFB and the NFL for the given week. Each week, we track his picks and preview his picks for the given week, so let’s take a look. Week 3 in CFB (Week 2 in NFL) was a good one for SVP, so here is a look at this week’s action.
SVP College Football Picks – Week 4
SVP’s Winner$ for Week 4 in CFB:
Texas State +17.5
Mississippi State +16.5#SVP #SportsCenter— Action Rush (@ActionRushBets) September 25, 2020
Texas State (+17.5) at Boston College
Seemingly each and every week, SVP pulls a “random” college team out of the hat to wager on for his “Winner$” segment. This week, that is Texas State at +17.5 against Boston College.
Mississippi State (+16.5) at LSU
SVP mentions that LSU has lost a ton of players, coaches, and more entering this season and takes Mississippi State with 16.5 points against the defending National Champions.

SVP is 1-1 all time picking the Vikings, as he says he does not think they are that bad. He likes them +2.5 at home.
Dallas Cowboys (+5) at Seattle Seahawks

Despite what the Seahawks twitter account says, SVP loves picking the underdogs. He is a fan of the Dallas Cowboys on the road against the Seahawks getting 5.5 points.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Denver Broncos (+5.5)
The Broncos have lost Drew Lock and Courtland Sutton, but SVP still likes them as home dogs getting 5.5 points against Tom Brady and the Bucs.
Detroit Lions (+5.5) at Arizona Cardinals
The third straight team that plays in a city that begins with “D”, and the fourth underdog in the Detroit Lions (+5.5) rounds out SVP’s “Winner$” segment on SportsCenter.
