The NFC boasts the defending Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who are once again the favorite to win the conference. There are a few up-and-coming teams to watch, but Tampa deserves to be the favorite.

Plenty of bettors on DraftKings Sportsbook would agree with that. The Bucs are currently hauling in 34% of the bet tickets and total handle to win the NFC. A return to the Super Bowl wouldn’t surprise anyone.

Let’s take a closer look at the NFC Championship betting odds and splits on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Of course, the Bucs are going to be at the top of the betting splits here. Aside from a few tweaks on the fringes, they are running it back with almost the same exact roster they had last year.

Meanwhile, teams like the Chicago Bears, Dallas Cowboys, and San Francisco 49ers are looking to unseat the defending champs. Even a team like the New York Giants could surprise people. It’s not exactly common for teams to go from worst to first in the NFL, but it’s always a legitimate possibility every year.

How Good Are the Rams?

It’s hard to hate this Los Angeles Rams squad. Aside from the Buccaneers, they are the only team that accounts for double-digit percentages in total handle and bet tickets.

That public confidence probably has a lot to do with the fact that the Rams are going all-in on Matthew Stafford. They were aggressive in the offseason and snagged the longtime Lions quarterback. Stafford is one of the most underrated passers in the NFL and he should flourish in Sean McVay’s system.

Stafford is going to give the offense a serious lift, but the defense might be the best unit on the Rams. Aaron Donald is the most dominant defensive player in the NFL. He blows up running plays up the middle and is one of the best at pressuring quarterbacks. But this unit is strong all over the field, especially at cornerback with Jalen Ramsey leading the way.

Is Washington For Real?

The Washington Football Team shocked the world by winning the NFC East last year. Did they simply take advantage of a garbage division or is this team for real?

Bettors seem to have confidence in Washington. The public is laying 8% of the total handle on Washington at +1800 odds. They are another team that will lean on its defense to carry games at times. Chase Young is one of the best edge rushers in the league and he should be even better than he was during his rookie year.

On offense, they are upgrading to Ryan Fitzpatrick at quarterback. Fitz has nine NFL lives and always seems to find a home year in and year out. Although he can be up-and-down, he is talented enough to keep the offense moving in the right direction.
