Back in November of 2018, Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson squared off in a head-to-head match play event with Phil taking the title in a playoff.
This year, they’re bringing it back, but adding two of the best Quarterbacks of all-time to their teams in Tom Brady and Peyton Manning. With the recently updated PGA Tour schedule for 2020, golf betting fans thought they would have to wait until June for the next wagering event.

“The Match: Champions for Charity” will feature Tiger Woods paired up with Peyton Manning, while Tom Brady will join Phil Mickelson to defend his title. All proceeds, donations and fundraising will all go towards COVID-19 relief.
Back in 2018, Tiger was the prohibitive favorite at -190 to win the event. Phil came in at +160 and actually gave bookmakers a much needed win with lopsided action from the public on Tiger.

Tiger vs. Phil 2 – Betting Odds
Oddsmaker Jeff Sherman of Super Book USA in Nevada and soon to be Colorado Sports Betting was quick to tweet out potential betting odds for Tiger vs. Phil part 2. Sherman felt that the Tiger Woods & Peyton Manning combo would be a solid -150 favorite over Phil and Tom Brady. Granted this is not a BIG betting event in terms of the Masters or the U.S. Open, but we will take what we can get right now.
Sherman was certainly a bit off when odds were published on DraftKings and FanDuel for Tiger vs. Phil II. Tiger and Peyton Manning are -200 favorites over Phil and Tom Brady. The betting public at DraftKings are split on where to bet on the match.

Fox Bet Sportsbook Sets Tiger & Peyton As BIG Favorites
Oddsmakers at FoxBet have set Tiger Woods and Peyton Manning as massive -212 favorites for their charity matchup against Phil Mickelson and Tom Brady.
Tiger vs. Phil 2020 Odds at DraftKings Sportsbook
Match Winner: T. Woods/P. Manning (-200) vs. P. Mickelson/T. Brady (+150)
This number has gone down slightly for Tiger & Manning after moving as high as -220. The betting public still remains heavy on the favorites, but a recent move up from Mickelson/Brady suggests pros may have jumped on for the value play. Mickelson won this event last time at Shadow Creek in Las Vegas.
Leader After 9 Holes: Woods/Manning (-110) vs. Mickelson/Brady (+175) vs. Tie (+400)
Phil got off to the better start last time out and with Brady now living in Florida, it’s fair to expect the underdogs to get off to the better start in this match. There’s also the option of jumping on Mickelson/Brady after three holes at (+200), which may be a better value play if you’re expecting them to start well. The +400 for the tie is enticing, but not much value.
Back 9 – Hole 10-18 Winner: Woods/Manning (-110) vs. Mickelson/Brady (+188) vs. Tie (+350)
Judging by how Woods’ career has gone, you usually expect to see a fierce comeback, or pulling away from the back on the back 9. In this case, this may be the better spot to hit on the favorites. Even if the underdogs are up, that would likely indicate that odds would be even lower for Woods/Manning due to the expectation of being heavy favorites. A massive 89% of bets are on Woods and Manning to win the back 9!
