Notoriously for the NFL Draft, the last week (and certainly day of the first round) has been full of smoke and mirrors. With that said, public betting information is not smoke and mirrors. We have seen a large bit of movement on Mac Jones at third overall, which means there could be some value on another quarterback at that spot.

With a ton of odds movement on Mac Jones on the day of the NFL Draft, let’s take a look at just how far he moved, what the odds are now, and how to bet on the NFL Draft.

Trey Lance Third Overall Pick – 2021 NFL Draft Odds

On the day of the NFL Draft’s first round, Trey Lance’s odds to be the number three pick have risen dramatically at DraftKings Sportsbook.

There has been some rumors that Lance will be the third pick in the NFL Draft, and those have greatly reflected in his price moving all the way to +150 on draft morning, then became the favorite in the afternoon. He was close to +500 just a week ago, and down to +250 earlier in the week. A monumental rise for a talented quarterback.

This means the odds have moved on the other side too, as Mac Jones’ odds have drastically decreased to be the #3 pick.

Update: Thursday afternoon at FanDuel Sportsbook, Lance moved to -160.

Will Mac Jones Fall in the NFL Draft?

On the day of the NFL Draft, Mac Jones’ odds to be the third overall pick fell sharply from over -300 in some places at DraftKings Sportsbook. Earlier in draft week, DK Sportsbook tweeted the below image, suggesting that the market is all over the place.

Now we know that this market continues to move, and Jones has become +130 to go third overall with Lance having heavy movement towards being the choice there. Here are the current odds to be third overall on FD:

  • Trey Lance (-160)
  • Mac Jones (+130)
  • Justin Fields (+900)
