Muirfield Village Golf Club is about to be center stage for the second time in as many weekends. After hosting the Workday Charity Open, the Dublin, Ohio golf course will host The Memorial Tournament this weekend. Early betting returns are favoring Tiger Woods, who will be making his first PGA Tour appearance since COVID-19 shut down the golf season.

Tiger’s most recent PGA Tour event resulted in a lackluster 68th-place finish at The Genesis Invitational, but he knows The Memorial Tournament as well as anyone. Woods has five wins at The Memorial with a three-year streak that included final scores of -15, -19, and -17. Tiger’s name is always going to attract betting attention and plenty of cash along with it. His strong showings in The Memorial or the cherry on top.

Betting Public Loves Tiger Woods This Week

Woods is bringing in 19% of the total handle and 14% of all tickets placed, but Brooks Koepka isn’t too far behind. Koepka is currently sixth in the world rankings but missed the cut at the Workday Charity Open last weekend. It’s interesting to see bettors place so much faith in Koepka after his dud of a weekend at Muirfield Village Golf Club, but his odds (+2800) make him an intriguing pick.

Not to mention, he came on strong on the back nine of his final round last weekend. It wasn’t enough for him to make the cut in the Workday, but it might be enough to give him some momentum in The Memorial.

There are a few longshots in the top 10 of the handle rank. Justin Rose (+6000) ranks fifth, not far behind Koepka and Woods. Sungjae Im (+7000) and Gary Woodland (+3300) are in the mix as well.
