Super Bowl Odds 2021

What a week of NFL football! With two games on Monday Night resulting in wins by the Arizona Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs defeating the Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills, respectively. We saw a big upset from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, defeating the Green Bay Packers 38-10, a big comeback from the Tennessee Titans, and many other notable games. With nearly 33% of the season over, the Super Bowl odds have really started to tighten up as teams are separating from the rest of the pack. Let’s take a look at the updated odds, which teams are rising, who is falling, and more.

Updated Super Bowl Odds

Entering Week 7, the NFL Super Bowl odds have been updated again. At DraftKings Sportsbook, you can get the Chiefs at +400 which are better odds than at PointsBet and BetMGM which are at +385 and +375, respectively. Remember to get the best odds to increase your chances of being profitable over the long run. Week 7 is a big one in the NFL for Super Bowl odds, as the 5-0 Pittsburgh Steelers take on the 5-0 Tennessee Titans, the undefeated Seahawks are playing again off a bye, and the Philadelphia Eagles could vault themselves into a playoff spot with a win and a Cowboys loss in a terrible NFC East division.

Titans Odds rise after 5-0 start

How about those Tennessee Titans? Derrick Henry and Ryan Tannehill led an epic comeback against the Houston Texans in Week 6, and it helped lead Tennessee to victory and propel their record to 5-0. In addition, their Super Bowl odds jumped to +1500 from +2800. In Week 7, the Titans will take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in the battle of two 5-0 AFC teams. The loser will likely see a downgrade in Super Bowl odds, but the winner could see their odds increase to +1000 or better with a 6-0 record. That will be a game to watch, for many reasons.

Bucs Super Bowl odds soar after win over Packers

After the Bucs’ Super Bowl odds fell after Week 5, Tampa was determined to win a big game in Week 6 against the Packers. Tom Brady and company did just that, with a very impressive 38-10 victory over Green Bay. The Bucs’ odds rose from +1600 to +1200 and Tampa Bay is back in the driver’s seat as one of the premier NFC teams in terms of Super Bowl odds. Here is a look at their current odds and their odds from last week to this week.

Latest Super Bowl Odds Movement

Entering Week 7, nearly every team in the NFL is a third of the way through the season. This means that teams are starting to become who they are, as Bill Parcells used to say “You are what your record says you are”. While it sounds trivial, 33% of an NFL season is quite the sample size relative to previous information. After Week 6, the biggest positive movers were the Titans, Bucs, and Cardinals. The biggest negative movers were the Cowboys, Browns, and Patriots. Here is a deeper look.

Seattle Seahawks +750 +50

A dozen teams in the NFL after Week 6 saw their odds to win the Super Bowl increase, highlighted by the Giants, Falcons, Dolphins, Lions, and Broncos. Of course, these movements do not mean much though given the fact that they are teams that likely are not Super Bowl contenders. The teams that saw the most significant movement were the Cardinals to +3300, the Titans to +1500, and the Bucs from +1600 to +1200 to win the Super Bowl after an impressive win over the Green Bay Packers.

After Week 6, there was a total of 18 teams that saw their oddsย fall. That is a whopping 56% of the NFL, meaning it was definitely a good week to be on the other side. The biggest movers amongst the stock down are the Bengals, Jets, Football Team, Jaguars, and Vikings. Of course, these are mostly teams that are out of the race to be contenders. For those teams that were in the hunt, the biggest fallers were the Cowboys, Browns, Patriots, and Bills. Seeing Andy Dalton’s performance (or lack thereof) on Monday Night Football was enough to hurt the Cowboys’ Super Bowl odds at most legal sportsbooks.
