- Where: M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore, Maryland
- When: Saturday, January 11th, 8:15 PM EST
- TV: CBS
- Odds: Ravens -8.5, o/u 47.5
Titans – Ravens Odds
As of Monday afternoon, the Ravens are currently -8.5 on DraftKings Sportsbook. This brings the Titans at massive 8.5-point underdogs. Both prices are -110.
The Titans are enormous underdogs after defeating the Patriots in New England, so the betting markets will be fun to watch this week. There is no arguing the Ravens should be favored however, being well-rested after two weeks and plenty of preparation. Is 8.5 too many? We shall see.
Be sure to keep an eye on the line during the week, as the movement will tell us which way sharp money is coming in.
Titans – Ravens Betting Total
The opening total for Ravens/Titans sits at 47.5 on DraftKings Sportsbook, with a -110 price on both sides.
For two offenses that love to run the ball, 47.5-points seems like a lot. But when you factor in how good the Ravens offense was this season, it makes much more sense. The Ravens were the only team to score 500+ points during the regular season, scoring 531 in 16 games (15 with starters) for an average of over 33 points per game. With the Ravens scoring over four touchdowns per contest, it’s easy to see a game like this go over the total.
The Titans base their entire offense on running the football and throwing the ball downfield to A.J. Brown, under newfound QB Ryan Tannehill, the Titans have scored plenty of points in the second half of 2019-2020, including 35 against the Chiefs, 42 against the Jaguars and Raiders, 31 against the Colts, and more.
Titans Are +350 Money-line Dogs
The Titans are a massive underdog on the moneyline, opening at +350 to win straight up over the Ravens.
On the other side, the Ravens are -420, which does not offer much value at all. This means if you were to bet $10 on the Ravens to win straight up, you would net a $12.40 payout…a profit of $2.40.
Expect Titans fans to place some money on their hometown team to win in Baltimore though, after upsetting the Patriots in the Wild Card round. A $10 bet on the Titans would net $45.00 in winnings on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Titans – Ravens Playoff Prediction
The Ravens have far too much firepower offensively, and their defense is a vastly underrated bunch.
Add in playing at home after realistically two or more weeks of preparation and they will be ready to go.
If the Ravens can contain Derrick Henry, it will become a game that wholly rests on the shoulders of the Titans’ passing attack, which means attacking the strength of the Ravens‘ defense…their secondary.
Baltimore Ravens – 31
Tennesee Titans – 13
With the current lines, this means the Ravens -8.5 and under 47.5.
