Golf Course Preview for the Travelers Championship – TPC River Highlands
After an awesome week at Torrey Pines, the PGA Tour moves north to Connecticut for the Travelers Championship. TPC River Highlands hosts this week’s event, and it is a great one. It is a private course, but known as one of the premier courses on the PGA Tour.
TPC River Highlands has hosted the Travelers Championship each year, and it used to host the Buick Chamionship and the Greater Hartford Open as well. The course started in 1928, but has been redone and redesigned by famed architect Pete Dye. It is a shorter course, playing at under 7,000 yards but is a Par 70. Here’s some of the highlights from last year’s tournament, where you can see Dustin Johnson playing the course.
Odds to win the Travelers Championship 2021
Finding the best odds seems like obvious advice that bettors all use, but you’d be surprised just how many betting markets you can maximize your return on. When it comes to betting on the PGA, that is even more important given the returns and odds are more important. For example, if you are wagering on a golfer such as Jon Rahm at +1100, but you can get +1400 at another book, that gives you an additional return when you hit on that market. Given the nature of golf betting and how hard it is to pick winners at implied probability, it is vastly important to get the best odds. That is why we provide you the opening odds and current odds at various sportsbooks each week for the PGA tournaments.
Let’s take a look at the odds to win this week’s PGA event in the Travelers Championship.
