When people think about March Madness, the NCAA Tournament is the first thing that comes to mind. However, March Madness really begins when college basketball‘s conference tournaments start. Although there are a few top-tier teams who expect to go deep, the Big East Tournament is wide open this year. Let’s take a look at the current odds to win the Big East Tournament on BetMGM Sportsbook.

Villanova (+125) and Creighton (+175) stand above the rest here. This makes sense considering the fact that they are the top two teams in the regular-season standings and the only ranked teams in the Big East. In fact, Nova and Creighton are the only Big East schools to receive any votes for this week’s AP Top 25 Poll.

But anything can happen in a win-or-go-home scenario. Villanova and Creighton are going to have their hands full with the rest of the Big East Conference come March.

UConn hit a bit of a rough patch over the last few weeks, but the recent return of electrifying freshman James Bouknight should give the Huskies a much-needed lift. Bouknight scored 18 points off the bench in UConn’s 73-61 win over Providence on Tuesday.

Xavier is another squad with a chance to make some noise in Madison Square Garden this March. The Wildcats have only played eight conference games this year, the fewest in the Big East, but they are still a threat to go deep into the conference tournament.

Unfortunately, New Jersey residents won’t be able to bet on Seton Hall here. Betting on colleges located in the state is restricted in New Jersey. However, residents of other states can grab the Pirates at +1000 on BetMGM Sportsbook.
