After legislation in November of 2019, Colorado was added to the list of states who could offer legal online sports betting. In what is a relatively quick turnaround, the state is set to offer sports betting online on May 1st, 2020. With the current coronavirus concerns suspending nearly all professional and collegiate sports leagues, the elephant in the room becomes a simple question: “What will sports betting look like in Colorado on day one?” It has become an assurance that the state will have plenty of willing sports bettors, but the curiosity of what the state’s offerings will look like on day one is an interesting one.

Let’s take a look, as Colorado plans to offer legal sports betting right away regardless of which sports leagues are currently on the docket.
